    Thinking of You

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and it is so pretty. I was inspired by the colors, flowers and sketch for my card.

I knew which papers I wanted to use and dug into some Stampin Up. I purchased this paper pack just for these beautiful flowers and this card made my fussy cutting heart happy LOL I do really like to fussy cut images from pattern paper. The sentiment is also from Stampin Up. As always, I added some stitching and this time I just adhered the images to the card rather than mounting on foam squares.

Now come on over and play along with us.

  • Diminish All Your Troubles

    Diminish All Your Troubles

I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today with a new monthly theme challenge and this one is Bloom.

I dug into some Stampin Up Papers and paired it with an old Papertrey Ink Stamp set. This stamp set has survived many purges over the years as I am a tea drinker and couldn’t bear to get rid of it.

I mounted the teapot and sentiment on foam squares.

Now if this inspires you at all, would love to see how. Come on over and play

  • You’re the Zest

    You’re the Zest

I had fun creating some themed gift baskets for Mother’s Day. For this one I used the new Lemonade collection from Echo Park for my You’re the Zest basket. Not only was the theme perfect but the colors matched the contents of the basket very well!

I layered some paper, added the Die and then created some tags out of scraps. I adhered the lemon stickers to some scrap paper then cut out and mounted on foam squares. The Sentiment is from Sunny Studio Stamps.

And here is the basket, would love to know what you think?

  • Clothes Pin Inspired

    Clothes Pin Inspired

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and I love it. I love this time of year when I can start hanging clothes outside to dry – would be perfect if I had a clothesline but a clothes rack works.

I was inspired by the colors, roses and the sketch to create my card. I used a stencil from Stampin Up! so it went together very quickly. The die is from MFT and I thought it was perfect for the sketch.

I hope you come play along with us!

  • Mouse & Me cards

    Mouse & Me cards

My cards were up on the Echo Park page the other day. I used the new Mouse & Me collection.

If you are a Mickey Mouse fan (and who isn’t?!) then this collection is a must have! There are so many ways that you could use it.

I had fun creating a fold out pop up card for one of them and there are FREE instructions for all three cards up on the Echo Park website.

    Smile and Shine

Hey everyone, the new Inspired By challenge is up. It is such a pretty one. I was inspired by the colors, sketch, flowers and umbrella to create my card.

I thought the new Silly Goose collection by Carta Bella worked well. I love the soft pretty colors and how can you not love the cute little geese.

  • Buzzing by with a hi

    Buzzing by with a hi

I made this card awhile ago and forgot to share it. It is a newer stamp from Unity called Hip Hop Honeybee. I just love those big cute eyes and his sneakers!

I coloured with copics and then added some gloss to the eyes. I have also used the Thinking Out Loud stamp set – a talking bubble is always a nice touch don’t you think? I paired that with some old CTMH paper, which…. my stock of it is finally getting quite low. I loved it when it released and bought a couple packs of it.

here’s the links to the stamp sets (the Thinking Out Loud one is ON SALE so don’t miss it!

  • Happy Birthday

    Happy Birthday

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and I was inspired by the theme and the colors to create my card. I bet you wouldn’t guess that I used a very Easter themed collection for this? It is the Easter Basket collection from Echo Park, love when paper packs are versatile.

The Cake stamp and die is from CTMH one and I paired it with a notebook stamp and die from Stampin Up. I paper pieced the cake and mounted it on foam squares. I then topped it with the birthday die from Echo Park. This was one of those 11th hour type of cards and luckily for me, it all went together well.

Now check out this week’s Inspired By Challenge, I hope you play along!

  • Let’s Go Shopping

    Let’s Go Shopping

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and it is a fun one. I love the colors. The Cafe made me think of a little cafe in Europe so I decided to use the French Girl collection from Echo Park. I was inspired by the colors and the sketch and instead of a cafe, I have a boutique. Reminds me of when I shopped on the Champs Élysées – window shopping of course because it was much too expensive for me LOL!

I adhered the stickers to some scrap paper then fussy cut them out so that I could mount on foam squares.

Baby Girl One Year Mini Album

I had fun creating this mini album out of the Little Lullabies Baby Girl collection from Echo Park

I used some mini envelopes as the base and then created an accordian album complete with monthly journaling spots. Free instructions can be found HERE

It all ties into a nice little album, which would make a great keepsake or even a grandma gift
