  • A Little Sunshine

    A Little Sunshine

I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today. It is a new month so there’s a new theme up and this month it is Sunshine!

For my card I reached for the You Are My Sunshine collection from Echo Park which is fitting don’t you think?

The mug is a die from Honey Bee Stamps. I stencilled the sun on it using a stencil from Echo Park. I then added the shine sticker and a heart sticker and of course some staples. I mounted the mug on foam squares and added a little white heart for steam.

I would love to see your sunshine themed coffee cards. Remember… iced coffee/ iced tea counts…

  • Baking Up Some Thanks

    Baking Up Some Thanks

The new Inspired By Challenge is up.I really love the colors in this week’s inspiration and had planned on doing something with them but then I remembered I had the Mom’s Kitchen collection from Echo Park just waiting to be used so I dug it out and went along with the theme.

I embossed the mint cardstock with an embossing folder from Unity. The recipe card, is just that, a recipe card – Echo Park has some fun ones! I just cut it down and used a notebook punch to add some detail.

I adhered the stickers to some scrap paper then fussy cut them out and mounted them on foam squares. The thanks die is from CTMH and I love the gingham washi tape in the Mom’s Kitchen collection so I added a bit of it too.

check out this week’s inspiration and be sure to play along

  • Hippity Hoppity

    Hippity Hoppity

I had a layout up on Echo Park Paper the other day and I had so much fun creating it

The Easter Basket collection was perfect for documenting these cute pictures don’t you think?

Most of the stickers I adhered to scrap paper and fussy cut out so I could mount on foam squares.

I also fussy cut some eggs from the patterned paper

There’s free instructions for this up on the Echo Park Paper website. Check them out here

  • Hooray You Did It

    Hooray You Did It

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and I bet you can tell how I was inspired.

I actually thought I had a couple of frog stamps but in one of my purges I must have gotten rid of them so I found this fun set of frogs and decided they would be perfect.

The collection comes with both coloured in and line drawing Clip Art. I was in a hurry and decided the coloured version was perfect. I printed, cut out and mounted on foam squares. The paper is from Echo Park and the die and sentiment are from Honey Bee Stamps. I also mounted the sentiment of foam squares.

Now here is the collection of the cute frogs

Now come on over and play along at Inspired By!

  • You’re the Zest

    You’re the Zest

I had fun creating some themed gift baskets for Mother’s Day. For this one I used the new Lemonade collection from Echo Park for my You’re the Zest basket. Not only was the theme perfect but the colors matched the contents of the basket very well!

I layered some paper, added the Die and then created some tags out of scraps. I adhered the lemon stickers to some scrap paper then cut out and mounted on foam squares. The Sentiment is from Sunny Studio Stamps.

And here is the basket, would love to know what you think?

  • Mouse & Me cards

    Mouse & Me cards

My cards were up on the Echo Park page the other day. I used the new Mouse & Me collection.

If you are a Mickey Mouse fan (and who isn’t?!) then this collection is a must have! There are so many ways that you could use it.

I had fun creating a fold out pop up card for one of them and there are FREE instructions for all three cards up on the Echo Park website.

Now go check out all the fun things available in this collection

  • Happy Birthday

    Happy Birthday

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and I was inspired by the theme and the colors to create my card. I bet you wouldn’t guess that I used a very Easter themed collection for this? It is the Easter Basket collection from Echo Park, love when paper packs are versatile.

The Cake stamp and die is from CTMH one and I paired it with a notebook stamp and die from Stampin Up. I paper pieced the cake and mounted it on foam squares. I then topped it with the birthday die from Echo Park. This was one of those 11th hour type of cards and luckily for me, it all went together well.

Now check out this week’s Inspired By Challenge, I hope you play along!

  • Let’s Go Shopping

    Let’s Go Shopping

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and it is a fun one. I love the colors. The Cafe made me think of a little cafe in Europe so I decided to use the French Girl collection from Echo Park. I was inspired by the colors and the sketch and instead of a cafe, I have a boutique. Reminds me of when I shopped on the Champs Élysées – window shopping of course because it was much too expensive for me LOL!

I adhered the stickers to some scrap paper then fussy cut them out so that I could mount on foam squares.

  • Baby Girl One Year Mini Album

Baby Girl One Year Mini Album

I had fun creating this mini album out of the Little Lullabies Baby Girl collection from Echo Park

I used some mini envelopes as the base and then created an accordian album complete with monthly journaling spots. Free instructions can be found HERE

It all ties into a nice little album, which would make a great keepsake or even a grandma gift

Be sure to hop on over and grab the free instructions and of course the collection 😉

  • I find my happiness

    I find my happiness

I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today with a new theme challenge for the Lattes & Layers. This month is all about rainbows.

Looking for inspiration? You could incorporate Rainbow by using:
    • an actual rainbow in your design
    • a rainbow of layered colors or patterned papers
    • ombré or tone-on-tone color palettes
    • mugs, cups, or drink elements with colorful accents

I have used the You Are My Sunshine collection from Echo Park. The mug is from the I Like Big Cups stamp set by Creative Worship stamps, and the sentiment is from the You Are My Sunshine: Life Is Good Stamp Set also from Echo Park

Now come and play along and let me see those rainbows!
