    You’ve Been People-ing

Happy Saturday! We had 5 people staying with us for the past week and they all left yesterday. It was a great week, lots of fun, laughs and memories made!

We stayed up late a few times playing Hitster. If you like music, you need to play it!

Seemed fitting to ink up this cutie called When You’ve Had Enough from Unity (on SALE right now)

I don’t know about you but I definitely need time alone to recharge. Probably why I wake up much earlier than everyone else.

On both cards the pup and sentiment are on foam squares. The paper is Pup – Pup and it’s on sale too!

When everyone left I started laundry and cleaning! What’s the first thing you do when company leaves?

For this card I used the negative piece from the die cut.

Be sure to grab this stamp and paper while they’re on sale!

  • We Came…

    We Came…

The new Inspired By Challenge is up and I was inspired by the fun summer vibes, the floaties and the swimming theme.

Aren’t these two gals fun?! It is a new stamp from Unity called Cabana Critics (and it is on sale right now). I had fun coloring them with copics. I then fussy cut them out and mounted on foam squares. The wavy die in the background is an old MFT one. I had it cut and ready as I made it for another project and didn’t use it. I have a little plastic folder where I keep die cuts I decide not to use just in case they come in handy…. and this one did.

The paper is an old CTMH collection and I thought it went well with the image. If you love this stamp set, be sure to grab it as it is on sale right now!

Here’s this week’s challenge photo, how are you inspired?

  • A Little Perk-Me-Up

    A Little Perk-Me-Up

Hey everyone,. I JUST finished purging and reorganizing (again) my craft room so I look forward to being in there more often – especially on the hot days as it is much cooler in our basement!

I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today and I had to share my card using this new Unity stamp

For today’s card I have used the NEW Uniquely Unity set Spill the Coffee, Darlin. It is such a great stamp set and yes you need it LOL (it’s on SALE right now too)

I mounted the image on foam squares for dimension. I also dug into some OLD supplies and added the spiral clip. Do you remember when they were all the rage? I have so many in several colors…

Now if you love this stamp set (and paper pack for that matter) go grab them as they are both on SALE right now!

  • Hi

    Hi

The Simon Says Challenge for this month is Cute Critters so I had to ink up this cutie Look Up Pup from Unity

I colored with Copics and mounted on foam squares. The speech bubble is from the Thinking Out Loud stamp set

The dies are some old MFT ones. The background one was perfect for this weeks Just Add Ink Sketch

I added some liquid glass to his nose and eyes for interest.

Now go grab this cute stamp set while it’s on sale!

  • S’more Than You Know

    S’more Than You Know

When I saw this week’s sketch from Freshly Made Sketches I knew what I wanted to do.

I thought of this oldie (but goodie) S’More die set from MFT. I die cut out the sticks and marshmallows then inked the edges of the marshmallows a bit. I mounted them on foam squares.

The sentiment and large marshmallow are from The Stamps of Life.

Now I just have to make up a S’More themed gift basket and find someone to give if to 😏

Here’s the sketch and I am playing along with Just Us Girls as well because it was time to dig out these fun dies again!

  • Purr-mission

    Purr-mission

I played with the Pam-purr Yourself stamp once again. It’s basically the same sketch/layout as the other day but different papers.

Once again paired with Echo Park Paper – this time the French Girl collection.

Of course, the speech bubble is from the Thinking Out Loud stamp set… it’s such a fun addition to cards!

Now, be sure to grab the stamps while they’re on sale!

  • Pam-purred

    Pam-purred

I had fun making this card. Everything just kind of worked and fell into place easily.

I had created some DT cards for Echo Park Paper using the Cat Lover collection and since the paper was out, I thought it worked well for this new Unity Pam-purr Yourself Stamp

I used some of the scraps leftover from my other cards and just layered them onto the card front. I colored the image with copics, fussy cut it out and mounted on foam squares.

I stamped one of the sentiments in the Thinkin Out Loud stamp set and mounted on foam squares as well.

I then finished off with some stickers.

BOTH of these stamps are on sale right now! Go grab them!

  • The Beginning

    The Beginning

The new Inspired By challenge is up and it is such a cute image. I was inspired by the birds and the sketch.

I started with the Little Spring Stories paper pack (on sale right now) from Unity and played around until I liked the papers and layout. for the top layer I subtly stamped the Lilac Poise image, splattered with ink then punched the side with a notebook punch.

After coloring the image from Beginning Today stamp set I mounted on foam squares.

Can’t wait to see how you are inspired.

  • Too Fabulous

    Too Fabulous

When I saw this week’s Beach challenge on the Simon Says Challenge I knew I had to ink up this fun new Cabana Critics stamp from Unity

I combined it with the paper pack (also from Unity) and an old CTMH die. To add a little more interest I mounted the image on foam squares and added some Echo Park enamel dots

Now this fabulous Cabana Critics stamp set is on sale right now so be sure to grab it!

And I am playing along with the Simon Says challenge

  • Hive Got Your Back

    Hive Got Your Back

Well… this card got a little away from me. My idea was CAS for the Krafty Chicks challenge and to use the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches

The sketch, inspired 3 hexagons which, because I got carried away aren’t very visible ha. Splattering isn’t my go to. And it went… everywhere.

So I stencilled my background and tried again… better, but definitely too much splatter

Hence, the ribbon and the hello 😆

It still works for the Simon Says Challenge – things with wings 😁. I used the Hive Got Your Back Stamp Set from Unity and just cut the bees apart. This cute set is on sale right now so be sure to grab it.
