    Hello Autumn

    Hey everyone, I am heading out today for our last camping trip of the season. Then I will be fully into fall mode! For this week’s Inspired By Challenge I was inspired by the theme and the sketch.

    I used the Here Comes Autumn collection from Echo Park. I kept it simple as we just had company leave and I was getting ready for camping and didn’t have a lot of crafty time! The embossed vellum was done using a Stampin’ Up embossing folder. 

    The little acorn is a sticker that I adhered to some scrap paper and fussy cut so that I could mount on foam squares. 

    Cute story. My father in law picks up all the acorns that drop on his boulevard each year as he doesn’t want any oak trees growing. When I was teaching grade one, I told him they would be fun to have in class for the kids to count, sort etc. Each year he would give me a bucket full and always be sure to tell me how many was in it. LOL

    A Little Fall Hello

    I am sitting here drinking my tea with a light blanket over my legs because the morning is cool. I love it. Means, fall is just around the corner so this card is perfect… A little fall hello – this new Mice & Cozy Unity stamp is a must have! Those little mice are so darn cute!

    I kept the design simple as I wanted the mice to be the spotlight. I did emboss the inner white panel using an old CTMH leaf folder. The die cut letters are also from CTMH. I stamped the mice, coloried with copics then fussy cut them out.

    Of course, as always, I mounted them on foam squares for some dimension.
