    Let’s Go Shopping

    The new Inspired By Challenge is up and it is a fun one. I love the colors. The Cafe made me think of a little cafe in Europe so I decided to use the French Girl collection from Echo Park. I was inspired by the colors and the sketch and instead of a cafe, I have a boutique. Reminds me of when I shopped on the Champs Élysées – window shopping of course because it was much too expensive for me LOL!

    I adhered the stickers to some scrap paper then fussy cut them out so that I could mount on foam squares.

    Baby Girl One Year Mini Album

    I had fun creating this mini album out of the Little Lullabies Baby Girl collection from Echo Park

    I used some mini envelopes as the base and then created an accordian album complete with monthly journaling spots. Free instructions can be found HERE

    It all ties into a nice little album, which would make a great keepsake or even a grandma gift

    I find my happiness

    I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today with a new theme challenge for the Lattes & Layers. This month is all about rainbows.

    Looking for inspiration? You could incorporate Rainbow by using:
    • an actual rainbow in your design
    • a rainbow of layered colors or patterned papers
    • ombré or tone-on-tone color palettes
    • mugs, cups, or drink elements with colorful accents

    I have used the You Are My Sunshine collection from Echo Park. The mug is from the I Like Big Cups stamp set by Creative Worship stamps, and the sentiment is from the You Are My Sunshine: Life Is Good Stamp Set also from Echo Park

    Have you seen the newest Unity stamps yet? So many beautiful ones including this month’s Uniquely Unity The Gentle Goodbye (on sale right now)

    I wanted to keep the design simple so that the image stood out. I used some old Stampin Up! papers. After colouring the image I lightly brushed over it with some glitter glue for interest.

    I used the postage stamp nesting dies to cut it out

    Spring Has Sprung

    The new Inspired By Challenge is up and it it very fitting for the month of April. A rainbow of gum boots! I was inspired by the gum boots and used the In Full Bloom collection by Echo Park Paper

    The gum boots stamp is from CTMH and believe it or not, I have some pink ones like this, some baby pink Hunter boots…. I mounted all the images on foam squares for some dimension. The Spring die is from Echo Park as well.

    I love this new stamp set from Unity The Pecking Order. I think it could be used for so many occasions. A birthday (inside of card could be a ‘can’t believe all the candles’), a Congratulations (you did it!), Retirement (can’t believe you finally did it)… what would you use it for?

    I colored with copics then cut out with the Postage Stamp Nesting Dies. To make it blend in more I colored the edges, lightly colored the background and then splattered some paint before mounting it on foam squares.

    The paper is the Chickens & Chintz collection from Unity

    This stamp set is on sake right now but not for much longer so be sure to grab it!

    My Coffee is Strong

    I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today with the final post for the ‘GREEN’ challenge. Since we are still scraping out windows in the morning I decided that the Emerson Girl (Angiegirl from Unity) would be a good image to use LOL. I paired here with the Hay There papers (also from Unity)

    I had fun paper piecing her, something I used to do all the time. I thought the denim paper was perfect for her pants, don’t you think? I fussy cut her out and mounted on foam squares for some dimension

    The sentiment is from the Latte Life Snippets – lots of great coffee sayings in this collection.

    Were you someone that followed Punch the Monkey? I sure did and was glad there was a happy ending!

    For this card I combined the Comfort Companion set with the Boho Baby Bear paper – both from Unity.

    The image is mounted on foam squares. I then added the xo die from Lawn Fawn along with the die cut hearts and sentiment from CTMH

    Homemade Thank You

    It’s Thursday so that means another Inspired By Challenge is up. Have you been creating Easter cards? I was going to go with the bunny theme (and who knows, I just may create another card!) but decided to go with the sketch, colors and Americana feel of the inspiration.

    I used the new Americana collection from Echo Park and challenged myself to use something old… which was the Friendship Jar stamp from PTI (remember those? do you have any?). I added a bunch of stitching for a more authentic feel.

    This month’s Uniquely Unity kit from @unitystampco is a fun one with a couple of chicken images.

    I used this first one to play along with a couple challenges

    I coloured her with copics and then cut out to mount on foam squares.

    I paired it with the You Are My Sunshine paper from @echoparkpaper. To add a little interest I backed it with an old die from Reverse Confetti and added some glaze to her eyes.
