  • Pam-purred

    Pam-purred

I had fun making this card. Everything just kind of worked and fell into place easily.

I had created some DT cards for Echo Park Paper using the Cat Lover collection and since the paper was out, I thought it worked well for this new Unity Pam-purr Yourself Stamp

I used some of the scraps leftover from my other cards and just layered them onto the card front. I colored the image with copics, fussy cut it out and mounted on foam squares.

I stamped one of the sentiments in the Thinkin Out Loud stamp set and mounted on foam squares as well.

I then finished off with some stickers.

BOTH of these stamps are on sale right now! Go grab them!

  • The Beginning

    The Beginning

The new Inspired By challenge is up and it is such a cute image. I was inspired by the birds and the sketch.

I started with the Little Spring Stories paper pack (on sale right now) from Unity and played around until I liked the papers and layout. for the top layer I subtly stamped the Lilac Poise image, splattered with ink then punched the side with a notebook punch.

After coloring the image from Beginning Today stamp set I mounted on foam squares.

Can’t wait to see how you are inspired.

  • Too Fabulous

    Too Fabulous

When I saw this week’s Beach challenge on the Simon Says Challenge I knew I had to ink up this fun new Cabana Critics stamp from Unity

I combined it with the paper pack (also from Unity) and an old CTMH die. To add a little more interest I mounted the image on foam squares and added some Echo Park enamel dots

Now this fabulous Cabana Critics stamp set is on sale right now so be sure to grab it!

And I am playing along with the Simon Says challenge

  • Hive Got Your Back

    Hive Got Your Back

Well… this card got a little away from me. My idea was CAS for the Krafty Chicks challenge and to use the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches

The sketch, inspired 3 hexagons which, because I got carried away aren’t very visible ha. Splattering isn’t my go to. And it went… everywhere.

So I stencilled my background and tried again… better, but definitely too much splatter

Hence, the ribbon and the hello 😆

It still works for the Simon Says Challenge – things with wings 😁. I used the Hive Got Your Back Stamp Set from Unity and just cut the bees apart. This cute set is on sale right now so be sure to grab it.

  • Thanks for being so sweet

    Thanks for being so sweet

Hey everyone, the new Inspired By challenge is up and it is a sweet one 😉.

I was inspired by the theme, colors and sketch this week. I was excited to use my Pink & Main Box of Donuts dies along with an old MFT frame die. The sentiment is from The Stamps of Life and the enamel dots are from Echo Park.

I mounted the donuts on foam squares and finished them off with some fun sprinkles. Now which donut would you choose?

Come play along with us over at Inspired by! I am also entering this into the Simon Says challenge

  • Ice Cream

    Ice Cream

Having just gotten over pneumonia and basically living off it… I quite agree with this statement. Though truth be told I would eat it anytime 😆

When I saw the new Simon Says Challenge I knew I had to play… Food or Drink – always fun cards to create. All of my supplies are from Unity except the sprinkles (I purchased from Simon Says Store)

I wanted some interest so I used the postage stamp dies for subtle texture. The ice cream is mounted on foam squares.

Might want to go grab this stamp set as it’s on sale right now!

  • Rise & Shine

    Rise & Shine

I’m up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog today with my second card for this month’s theme – which is sunshine

I took a little different view of it for this card. I was thinking of having coffee and watching the sun rise.

I love these Unity Papers Chickens & Chintz – all the elements of morning the roosters, the newsprint and then I added the coffee using die cut mugs using a Honey Bee Stamps die. The Stamped sentiment and image on the one mug are from Echo Park.

I added a button for some interest and them mounted the mugs using foam squares. Thankfully this card went together quite easily because I didn’t have the energy or brainpower to struggle this time LOL

  • Happy Birthday Exploding Box

    Happy Birthday Exploding Box

I was up on the Echo Park page the other day with this fun Exploding Box birthday card.

I used the They Say It’s Your Birthday collection – the fun stickers made this easy!

What is really fun is that this will fit in a regular A2 envelope for easy mailing. There are FREE instructions on how to make this up on the Echo Park Website and you can find them HERE

It was fun creating it and I hope you give it a try!

  • Something Old, Something New

    Something Old, Something New

The new Inspired By challenge is up. I was immediately drawn to the colors and I love a haphazard sketch so I was loosely inspired by it too. The new Save the Date collection from Echo Park is absolutely gorgeous and it worked perfectly for the color palette. The background woodgrain paper is from Stampin Up!

I started by fussy cutting the flowers from one of the pattern papers. I then layered the background papers until I was happy with the loo. Once the flowers were down (the middle on is on foam squares. I tucked the sentiments here and there simulating the sketch. The white hearts were the negative image from a heart border that I have had just waiting for the right project and this was it. The XOXO is from Lawn Fawn and then to finish it off I added some Enamel Dots.

    Here’s this week’s inspiration photo
