Playing along with the Inspired By Challenge today once again. This time using an image from Angie Blom Designs.(on sale right now) This time I went with the theme and the blues.
I embossed the gray panel with a snowflake pattern
I am back again with another card for the Inspired By Challenge (and I am sure it won’t be the last, I have several ideas!). For this one I was inspired by the knitting to use my new Concord & 9th Knitting Together Die Set and I loosely followed the sketch. One of my friends is a knitter and I might use this die to create a set of cards for her!
I embossed the white panel with my sweater knit embossing folder. The sending die is from CTMH and the Warm Wishes stamp set is from the CZ Design Clear Stamps Warmest Wishes stamp set from Simon Says Stamp – love this set!
I played along with a few challenges because I just got this Unity Snowmie stamp and I was excited to ink him up. Love how big he is. I used some scraps of my Simple Stories papers. I embossed the white background to add some interest but still keep it CAS. The sentiment is from the Hello Warm Fuzzies Whit Kit (on sale so grab it, because those snowmen and penguins in the kit are super cute!)
The new Inspired By Challenge is up and I was inspired by the colors and winter theme. I used a new image from Angie Blom Designs along with some papers from Simple Stories. I had the die cut frame laying on my desk for a previous project so I incorporated it and added a bit of glitter to it. I was going for the look of walking around a winter ski village (here it would be Whistler, which is on my bucket list one day to spend a weekend there). To add even more detail to the card I embossed the white cardstock and then finished off the card with some snowflakes.
Now here are the Inspired By images, we would love for you to play along!
Today I am sharing a card that could be used for someone who just needs a hug. Wouldn’t you love to receive a little happy mail, when you’re feeling down?
I used the Wee Little Love Courier from Unity and paired it with my Sweet Valentine Wishes collection available in my ETSY shop.
I just love this cute little guy, what about you? If so, be sure to grab him as it is on sale right now.
I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today and since it is a new month there’s a new theme challenge happening. This month the theme is Sweater. I knew thisGretchen Girl Stamp would work perfectly for this challenge and I have used a sentiment from Warm & Cozy Season
I used a sweater embossing folder to emboss the main card base, though it is a little hard to tell.
Check out the stamps and paper here (click on images)
Now come on over to the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog and play along
I basically used only 3 of the pattern papers to create these cards. For the first one I cut some scraps of the white cardstock and layered to look like snow and added some stitching. The houses were fussy cut and the snowman is mounted on foam squares. The die on all 3 is from CTMH
I then used a couple of the paper pieces for my second card, added some snowflakes, stitching and a bow and it was done.
Finally with the small pieces that were left I created the final card using one of the penguins from the set. Always some stitching, snowflakes and image on foam squares.
This cute set is available on its own or as a bundle in the Whit Kit. Of course it is on sale right now so be sure to grab it!
A new month means new releases over at Unity and I am so in love with this month’s KOM! So many fun images so stay tuned I will be sharing lots this month! First up, this cutie, which I thought was fitting for the start of a new year. We have turned the page on last year, and starting all fresh, I for one am looking forward to this year and what things I can accomplish!
I have used the You are My Sunshine collection from Echo Park. I love the bright happy colors and patterns in this collection. I imagined her sitting in a garden full of flowers on a sunny spring day.
I coloured her with copics, pieced together some papers, stitched added a ribbon and voila, all done.
Curious, are you a reader? What books do you like to read?
Now go grab this cute set Once the Story Opens, while it is on sale! {Click on image for direct link}
Of course be sure to check out Echo Park’s newest collection too!
It’s Thursday so that means another Inspired By Challenge. But I was also asked to be the Guest Designer on JUGS this month and I am pretty excited about that. This week I decided to combine the challenges. I was inspired by the snowmen and the sketch on Inspired By and on JUGS we were to use a cover plate die. I dug through my die collection and found a couple of neglected stitching frame dies from Stamplorations and CTMH and they were perfect. I also used the Hello die from I think MFT.
I paired it with the cute Clip Art snowman which is part of a cute set. Check it out HERE

Now here is the Inspired By Inspiration:
And be sure to hop on over to JUGS and check out what the others have done and of course play along!
I have another card for the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog again today and it is your last chance to link up to the Lattes & Layers Challenge
For my card I have another cute Clip Art design, don’t you just love him? I paired it with some older Simple Stories papers
I used up some of my scraps, topped it with a snowflake border die from Poppy Stamps and some snowflakes punched out of glitter paper before mounting the image on foam squares. The sentiment die is from Stamplorations. I did fussy cut the mug and add it to the snowman’s hand.
