    Whatever Keeps You Warm

I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today and since it is a new month there’s a new theme challenge happening. This month the theme is Sweater. I knew thisGretchen Girl Stamp would work perfectly for this challenge and I have used a sentiment from Warm & Cozy Season

I used a sweater embossing folder to emboss the main card base, though it is a little hard to tell.

Check out the stamps and paper here (click on images)

Now come on over to the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog and play along

    Turn the Page

A new month means new releases over at Unity and I am so in love with this month’s KOM! So many fun images so stay tuned I will be sharing lots this month! First up, this cutie, which I thought was fitting for the start of a new year. We have turned the page on last year, and starting all fresh, I for one am looking forward to this year and what things I can accomplish!

I have used the You are My Sunshine collection from Echo Park. I love the bright happy colors and patterns in this collection. I imagined her sitting in a garden full of flowers on a sunny spring day.

I coloured her with copics, pieced together some papers, stitched added a ribbon and voila, all done.

Curious, are you a reader? What books do you like to read?

    Now go grab this cute set Once the Story Opens, while it is on sale! {Click on image for direct link}

Of course be sure to check out Echo Park’s newest collection too!

  • Cheers

    Cheers

I am playing along with the Inspired By Challenge again using the colors and the theme. I thought the Beer Me stamp from Unity would work well for this too (It’s probably how my hubby will be celebrating New Years 😉) And yes the stamp set is on sale!

I paired it with some paper from Stampin’ Up and the dies are from PTI and MFT I believe. I mounted the image on foam squares and added some glitter gel to make it look more like foam on the top.

Now to grab this fun image!

and of course come play along at Inspired By!

  • Party Pup

    Party Pup

When I saw this Unity stamp, Party Pup Birthday, I knew it would work well with the Party Animal collection from Echo Park. I also added some stars using an old MFT die. Love the banner with this image, it is perfect don’t you think?

I also paired it with some old CTMH papers and the Thinking Out Loud stamp set

Both of these stamp sets are on sale right now, so don’t miss out!

  • Another Beer Older

    Another Beer Older

Switching Gears a bit here but I had to share this new stamp set from Unity. It is so perfect for masculine cards, which I often have trouble making. What about you?

I created this first card using some old CTMH papers along with some dies that I have had (I think from PTI and MFT but not sure). I coloured in using copics and added some sparkle glaze to the foam

Then, I noticed the scrap piece of white cardstock that I had used the dies on and thought it would make a good background (I didn’t plan on lining them up so well, it just worked out that way LOL). I used the same papers and once again added details to the foam

Now go grab this stamp as it is on sale right now!

  • One Leg Twitch

    One Leg Twitch

I know this isn’t Christmasy but I am sure there are some of us that can relate to this around now LOL! This is a new stamp set from Unity called Starting a Plague.

I did fussy cut the little guy and mound him on foam squares for dimension.

The other sentiments that come with the image are pretty perfect as well!

Now tell me, how close are you to feeling this right now?

  • Cozy Warm Winter Wishes

    Cozy Warm Winter Wishes

My second hot cocoa card for today, this time using some Unity stamps. I used the It’s a Mug Hug stamp set for the main image and the sentiment is from the Cozy Vibes Coffee set I used some scraps of my Carta Bella Coffee shop papers. the image is coloured with copics and mounted on foam squares. I added glitter to the whip cream for detail.

Once again playing along with (click on photos for direct link)

  • Stay Warm, Feel Cozy

    Stay Warm, Feel Cozy

It’s National Cocoa Day so of course I had to create a card for the occasion. Actually I am going to see how many I can create today! This is the first of 2 so far. I used the Farmhouse collection from Carta Bella, which isn’t a Christmas/Winter collection but I thought the colors worked well for it. The mug die is from MFT, the snowman stamp is from Pinkfresh Studio and the sentiment is from Unity.

I mounted the min image on foam squares. The embossed snowflake background was a scrap just laying on my desk so I made it into a tag to mount the image on.

This is also another card for the Lattes & Layers challenge over on the Coffee Loving Paper Crafters Blog where the theme is Sparkle. I added some sparkle to the snowman’s hat.

Come play along, as one lucky person will get to be a guest designer!

And of course don’t forget to play along with the Caffeinated Christmas challenge!

  • Winter’s Heart Christmas

    Winter’s Heart Christmas

I finally played with this gorgeous stamp set from Unity it is called Winter’s Gentle Heart. I pretty much live in the forest so anything with evergreen and pine cones I love! Fitting as today I hope to head out with the dogs and gather some greenery for our decor.

    Do you decorate with greenery?

Now this gorgeous stamp set is available for purchase as part of this month’s KOM or you can purchase it separately as a KOMpanion kit

  • Merry Gnomie

    Merry Gnomie

I played along with the Inspired By Challenge again, because, well that gnome is so cute. This time I used a stamp from Unity .

I paired it with the Hard Candy collection from Simple Stories, the colors in this are so fun aren’t they?

To make it even more fun I mounted him on a wobbler so that it is an interactive card.

If you like this stamp set, go grab it because it is on sale right now! (click on image for direct link)
