    Un-Bee-lievably Amazing

We have had some pretty gorgeous winter days, sunny and cool, and it got me in a Spring mood. I couldn’t wait to ink up this cute Bee stamp called Peek-A-Bee from Unity.

I paired it with some old CTMH papers that I thought were perfect for it. I fussy cut the honey jar from some of the pattern paper and added it to some white cardstock then made it into a tag. I also added some liquid glass to the eyes for some interest. The stitched frame is from Stamplorations.

Now be sure to go grab this set while it is on sale!

    Aging Like Fine Wine

Unity has some fun new releases in celebration of Angie’s birthday. Of course when I saw this image from the Hot Flash and Happy Hour set (it is on sale right now!), I knew it would pair perfectly with the Wine Collection from Echo Park. Can you relate to either of them? Although I am not a drinker, I love the full bodied and fabulous LOL

I then had to create another card bectause I loved the sentiment on the Ephemera (even though I don’t swear either – man I am boing LOLOL), ‘Lets try it out’ haha. I cut apart the stamped sentiment to add into the 3 blocks I put down. I often cut apart stamped sentiments to make them work for what I am doing, do you?

Now go grab this stamp set while it is on sale!

of course if you are looking for the paper, you can get it here:

  • Wintry Hello

    Wintry Hello

Playing along with the Inspired By challenge and the theme challenge over at Coffee Lovers Papercrafters which is Sweater. I used the Perfect Girl Angiegirl paired with Talking Out Loud (on sale so grab it, such a fun and versatile stamp set) and the It’s a Mug Hug. I paper pieced her sweater with a scrap piece. I used to paper piece all of the time and haven’t done it for a while – you just may see more…. 😉 The Snowflake paper is also from Unity it is the Snowy Winter Greetings.

Here are the links to the stamp sets I used:

  • Cozy Hello

    Cozy Hello

I played along with a few challenges because I just got this Unity Snowmie stamp and I was excited to ink him up. Love how big he is. I used some scraps of my Simple Stories papers. I embossed the white background to add some interest but still keep it CAS. The sentiment is from the Hello Warm Fuzzies Whit Kit (on sale so grab it, because those snowmen and penguins in the kit are super cute!)

I am playing along with the CAS on Friday challenge which is Snowman. I combined it with the sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge and the Simon Says Challenge – use something new

  • Big Squeeze

    Big Squeeze

Today I am sharing a card that could be used for someone who just needs a hug. Wouldn’t you love to receive a little happy mail, when you’re feeling down?

I used the Wee Little Love Courier from Unity and paired it with my Sweet Valentine Wishes collection available in my ETSY shop.

I just love this cute little guy, what about you? If so, be sure to grab him as it is on sale right now.

  • Whatever Keeps You Warm

    Whatever Keeps You Warm

I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today and since it is a new month there’s a new theme challenge happening. This month the theme is Sweater. I knew thisGretchen Girl Stamp would work perfectly for this challenge and I have used a sentiment from Warm & Cozy Season

I used a sweater embossing folder to emboss the main card base, though it is a little hard to tell.

Check out the stamps and paper here (click on images)

Now come on over to the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog and play along

  • Hello Warm Fuzzies Trio

    Hello Warm Fuzzies Trio

When I first saw these cuties in the newest Whit Kit – Hello Warm Fuzzies by Unity I couldn’t wait to play with them. They are just so cute! I paired them with this fun paper set called Studio Light Hello Winter Friendz Paper Pad. Of course I was inspired by the snowmen once again from Inspired By.

I basically used only 3 of the pattern papers to create these cards. For the first one I cut some scraps of the white cardstock and layered to look like snow and added some stitching. The houses were fussy cut and the snowman is mounted on foam squares. The die on all 3 is from CTMH

I then used a couple of the paper pieces for my second card, added some snowflakes, stitching and a bow and it was done.

Finally with the small pieces that were left I created the final card using one of the penguins from the set. Always some stitching, snowflakes and image on foam squares.

This cute set is available on its own or as a bundle in the Whit Kit. Of course it is on sale right now so be sure to grab it!

Also playing along with some challenges

  • Turn the Page

    Turn the Page

A new month means new releases over at Unity and I am so in love with this month’s KOM! So many fun images so stay tuned I will be sharing lots this month! First up, this cutie, which I thought was fitting for the start of a new year. We have turned the page on last year, and starting all fresh, I for one am looking forward to this year and what things I can accomplish!

I have used the You are My Sunshine collection from Echo Park. I love the bright happy colors and patterns in this collection. I imagined her sitting in a garden full of flowers on a sunny spring day.

I coloured her with copics, pieced together some papers, stitched added a ribbon and voila, all done.

Curious, are you a reader? What books do you like to read?

    Now go grab this cute set Once the Story Opens, while it is on sale! {Click on image for direct link}

Of course be sure to check out Echo Park’s newest collection too!

  • Cheers

I am playing along with the Inspired By Challenge again using the colors and the theme. I thought the Beer Me stamp from Unity would work well for this too (It’s probably how my hubby will be celebrating New Years 😉) And yes the stamp set is on sale!

I paired it with some paper from Stampin’ Up and the dies are from PTI and MFT I believe. I mounted the image on foam squares and added some glitter gel to make it look more like foam on the top.

Now to grab this fun image!

and of course come play along at Inspired By!

  • Party Pup

    Party Pup

When I saw this Unity stamp, Party Pup Birthday, I knew it would work well with the Party Animal collection from Echo Park. I also added some stars using an old MFT die. Love the banner with this image, it is perfect don’t you think?

I also paired it with some old CTMH papers and the Thinking Out Loud stamp set

Both of these stamp sets are on sale right now, so don’t miss out!
