Ok so yet another super cute image released by Unity! This Seen & Herd stamp (on sale so grab it!) will be used on repeat. of course that thought bubble is from the Thinking Out Loud Stamp set.
This chicken wire background is probably one of my most used ones and it’s probably like 15 years old! If anyone knows where I can get another, please let me know
I am on a mission this year. I would like to say every time, but I know that won’t happen but MOST of the time I craft I want to incorporate something from my stash – stamp, die, paper etc I have done well thus far and today, I am sharing 2 cards that use some 3 X 3 envelopes that I have had around for eons (there’s plenty more where they came from too LOL) Both cards use cute critters from Unity
This first one I have used the Be Mine collection from Carta Bella I layered the papers then adhered the envelope and stuffed it with some of the ephemera from the collection. The XO die is from CTMH. Now this little Wee Little Love Courier is one of Unity’s newest releases and it is on sale right now.
Next up I dug into my old CTMH stash and found some Valentine themed papers that worked well. This Snail from Patiently Posted (which is also on sale) worked well as a Valentine type of card too. the XOXO element was something I had already die cut and didn’t use and it fit perfectly into the envelope. The heart die and the tab are from Elle’s Studio The little snail is mounted on foam squares.
Hey everyone, I wanted to share my card for this week’s challenge (though I am sure I will be doing at least one more – such a sweet inspiration photo). I was inspired by the theme and came up with this card. Funny thing is I had the heart background and the just sayin’ already done as I didn’t use them on a previous project so this went together quickly. Both the pattern paper and the cute stamp is from Unity. The other sentiment, I printed out on my computer. The little cup die I have had for many years, I think was originally from PTI. I added a heart confetti to the mug.
The image and sentiment is mounted on foam squares for some dimension. Isn’t she cute?!
Now we would love to see how you are inspired! I am also linking up to the Simon Says Monday challenge – Have a Heart
I am showing my age here. Do you know the story Ferdinand the Bull? The bull who just loved to sit out in the field and smell the flowers?
When I saw this adorable new Uniquely Unity stamp – Just Pig Cause I thought of this pig sitting in a field of flowers and made 2 versions. I think it would be a great Wilbur too.
This next card I colored with my copics. I love this background daisy paper. Reminds me of some overalls I made for my oldest when she was a baby only they were blue and baby pink rather than yellow.
You can grab this cute stamp and paper here (just click on images)
Another cute image from Unity – Teddy With Love. (He’s on sale as part of a bundle or on it’s own).
I dug out some old CTMH papers to pair him with.
The sticker hat was the perfect size, so I adhered it to scrap paper and cut it out. I do this often because I prefer ephemera as I can play around until I like the look and I can add foam squares to them so they pop up, which is what I did here and with the bear.
Now, be sure to grab this cutie while it’s on sale!
I played along with the Inspired By Challenge once again, this time with a very different look. I was inspired by the mittens. I thought the knit paper in the White Winter papers by Unity would make great mittens so I dug out an old mitten die and created them.
I stitched around them for some interest and added a snowflake and twine. Before mounting them, I stencilled the background with a snowflake stencil. The sentiment is from the Cozy Vibes stamp set (which is on sale right now)
I mounted the mittens on foam squares because I like the dimension it adds.
I have another, what could be Valentine’s Day card but works for anytime someone could use a little pick me up. I used the Wee Little Love Courier from Unity, I just love those cute big eyes!
I paired it with some paper from Stampin Up! The heart dies are some old CTMH ones and once again, happy to use another button from my stash.
Now be sure to grab this cutie while it is on sale!
Slowly easing out of winter cards… so that means you’ll start seeing more Valentine and Spring ones around here. Today I have a Valentine one featuring one of Unity’s newest stamp sets Hop to My Heart – isn’t this bunny cute?
I have paired it with some paper from Stampin Up! the background that the image is on is actually an old Journaling card from Elle’s Studio – feels good when I use something from my old stash. How often do you try to do that? I am on a mission to use more of my old stamps, dies and papers at least once a week, but we shall see! I fussy cut the image out and mounted on foam squares.
Be sure to grab the stamp set while it is on sale!
I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog again with my second card for this month’s Lattes & Layers theme which is Sweater. For this card I have used the White Winter 6 X 6 pad from Unity. I love the designs and colors in this – very hygge 😊. The Sweater knit paper made a perfect wrap for the cup don’t you think?
I paired it with the Simon Says Stamp Warm Mug And Everything Nice. It is hard to tell from the photo but I embossed the white cardstock with snowflakes, thus entering this in the SSSIG challenge – Use and Embossing Folder – mine is from CTMH
Now if you haven’t played along in the Lattes & Layers challenge I would love to see what you create!
When I saw the challenge over at Simon Says Monday Challenge – something with wings, I knew exactly which stamp I wanted to use because aren’t these birds the cutest? Wouldn’t you feel better receiving a card with one of these cuties from Wing and a Prayer by Unity?
For both cards I wanted the feeling of being all stitched up so lots of sewing happening LOL!
I created this Get Well Soon one first using a sketch from my sketches (see link at the top for the ones I have uploaded thus far). I dug out some very old MFT dies – the bandaids and the get well soon. I thought the dotted paper in the A Little Tenderness Paper pack would work well as a bandaid.
I mounted the bird on foam squares for some dimension.
Now while I had the stamps and paper out I wanted to see what I could do with the scraps from this first card and this is what I came up with. I just played around with them, trimming a couple to fit better. Once again the bird is mounted on foam squares. I have such a button stash and don’t use them hardly at all, but I knew that I would have one that was a good color for this card so yay for using some stash LOL!
Now head on over to Unity and grab the stamp set and papers as they are on sale right now!
