  • Otter Be My Valentine

    Otter Be My Valentine

I played along with a few challenges today and had to ink up this cute otter from the You Otter Be Stamp Set once again. I paired it with the Thinking Out Loud stamp set, which is a must have set as it works with so many other stamp sets and just adds that extra touch!

The paper is from the Valentine Coffee pad. I had the white frame and the XOXO already cut from another project so I just added them to this one. I mounted the Otter and Talking bubble on foam squares.

    Happy Heart Day Envelope

Hey everyone, Laurel here. I am excited to share my take on this week’s Inspired By challenge. I was inspired by the theme and the envelopes. I used the Be Mine collection for the pattern paper and ephemera. To create the envelope, I used my envelope punch board from WR Memory Keepers. Love that it can make so many different sizes. The heart die is from Elle’s Studio and I cut the XO with my Silhouette I figure I could tuck a gift certificate into this.

I hope you come and play along with us!

I am also playing along with the following challenges:

  • Toad-ally Love You

    Toad-ally Love You

This cute image is one of Unity’s newest releases. Lily Pads & Sunshine and he is just so cute!

I kept it pretty minimal as I wanted the frog to stand out. The journal card is an old Elle’s Studio one. The pattern paper (red strips) is from the Valentine Coffee pad from Unity. I mounted the frog on foam squares for some dimension.

  • Cream in My Coffee

    Cream in My Coffee

Hey, I am up on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog today and since it is the start of a new month I have a new theme challenge for you. You have until February 28th to enter and one lucky person will get to be guest designer.

For my card I used a few old things. First up, those heart confetti in the shake are from CTMH, the journal card and elements are from an old Elle’s Studio kit, Feels good to stash bust doesn’t it? To make the shaker I used the die from Lawn Fawn Build a Drink Mug Add On Dies.

The main part of the sentiment is one that I printed up on my computer.

I am also linking up to a couple of challenges but be sure to play alone with us at CLP. And of course this is another creation for this week’s Inspired By challenge, you have until tomorrow evening to link up!

  • Valentine Mail

    Valentine Mail

I am on a mission this year. I would like to say every time, but I know that won’t happen but MOST of the time I craft I want to incorporate something from my stash – stamp, die, paper etc I have done well thus far and today, I am sharing 2 cards that use some 3 X 3 envelopes that I have had around for eons (there’s plenty more where they came from too LOL) Both cards use cute critters from Unity

This first one I have used the Be Mine collection from Carta Bella I layered the papers then adhered the envelope and stuffed it with some of the ephemera from the collection. The XO die is from CTMH. Now this little Wee Little Love Courier is one of Unity’s newest releases and it is on sale right now.

Next up I dug into my old CTMH stash and found some Valentine themed papers that worked well. This Snail from Patiently Posted (which is also on sale) worked well as a Valentine type of card too. the XOXO element was something I had already die cut and didn’t use and it fit perfectly into the envelope. The heart die and the tab are from Elle’s Studio The little snail is mounted on foam squares.

  • Just Sayin’

    Just Sayin’

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my card for this week’s challenge (though I am sure I will be doing at least one more – such a sweet inspiration photo). I was inspired by the theme and came up with this card. Funny thing is I had the heart background and the just sayin’ already done as I didn’t use them on a previous project so this went together quickly. Both the pattern paper and the cute stamp is from Unity. The other sentiment, I printed out on my computer. The little cup die I have had for many years, I think was originally from PTI. I added a heart confetti to the mug.

The image and sentiment is mounted on foam squares for some dimension. Isn’t she cute?!

Now we would love to see how you are inspired! I am also linking up to the Simon Says Monday challenge – Have a Heart

  • Extra Love

I paired it with some paper from Stampin Up! The heart dies are some old CTMH ones and once again, happy to use another button from my stash.

Now be sure to grab this cutie while it is on sale!
