Hot Chocolate Kind of Day

I am back with another card inspired by the Inspired By challenge. For this card I was inspired by the colors, sketch and the theme and pulled out an old CTMH stamp set and background die and started colouring. I don’t have any purple paper in these colors so I am going to have to change that because this light shade of purple (lilac, one of my favorite plants) is one of my favorite colors!

I did emboss the main panel with a snowflake embossing folder before topping it with the circle die. The sentiment is from a Newton’s Nook stamp set Cup of Cocoa.

Now since I don’t have the right cardstock colors, I colored a bit of white cardstock then punched out the snowflakes so that they coordinated with the stamped images.

Have you played along with us over at Inspired By yet? I am also playing along at the Paper Players challenge – Signs of Winter

Laurel, you definitely have all the signs of winter wear on your card. Cute design and I love that sentiment. It’s felt a hot chocolate kind of day here in Idaho for a while lol! Thank you for joining us this week at the Paper Players!

Laurel this card is unmistakably all about winter; the snowflake background is pretty and the clothing and cocoa add a warmth and cosiness to your card. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
